Breeding Rules

 1. You have 30 days to use a breeding slot! If after that time frame, a slot has not been used, no matter how it was paid for (art/point/Spáfold tokens etc), the slot will become NULL/VOID and therefore useable to someone else. Please keep this in mind when you make a deal with someone in regards to a dire's slots! If you deactivate your dA account that is used in this group, you will also lose rights to that slot, no matter if you transfer your dires over to your new account or not. If a slot is also promised for an extended period of time (3 months for example) and if, after this time period is up, that slot still has not been used, you will lose rights to it. Please use your slots within a reasonable amount of time!

2. Your dire will start out as a pup. At this stage, he or she will not be able to breed. Once they reach 50SP (Spáfold Points), you will be able to submit their tracker and they will then be upgraded to Omega. Omegas can breed but due to their age and lack of maturity, pups will often die as a result. So it's often wise to not breed at this stage. However, if you choose to do so, you will only have 5 breeding slots.  At 200SP your dire will move on to Beta. At this stage, your dire will unlock 10 breeding slots. At 400SP you will unlock another 10 slots, totaling 25 slots altogether. At 600 your dire will move on to it's Alpha role. At this stage, they will unlock unlimited breeding slots.

3. Inbreeding should be kept to a bare minimal. Healthy pups will live longer, last longer in the wilds, and will have a greater chance of getting to adult-hood. So if at all possible, only inbreed if the parent, grandparent or great grandparent isn't on the viewable lineage (meaning we can't see it on the lineage!) Remember, if you choose to inbreed, it'll be at your own risk!

4. Supplements and other special items have to be added prior to your breeding being rolled! Want a special mutation? Add the Mutation Potion on before your breeding is rolled! So be sure to include it in the Supplements section!

5. Each dire female can have up to 2 pups per breeding. This however, depends wholly on the season and her overall health, so be certain she wasn't injured in any hunts or pup amounts per breeding will go down!

6. ALL our mutations, colors and manes can be bred for! We'll be working on a 'How To' section shortly but the basics are quite clear. If you want an albino pup, you'll have to breed two albino parents together. The chances for a pup in the litter being albino is 50/50.
