Hereditary Traits


Hereditary traits are advantages that your Dire can inherit from its parents and pass down to any offspring, providing boosts of different types - such as breeding, hunting, or showing. Unlike companion boosts, these have a chance to be rolled at birth, and are permanently attached to your Dire.

Common

50% chance of passing to offspring

1. Caver: +10% chance of finding rare caving items.+5% chance of bringing home x3 extra items.

2. Diver: +10% chance of finding rare items while diving. +3% chance of bringing home +4 extra items.

3. Explorer: +10% chance of finding rare items during an exploration. +5% chance of bringing home +2 extra items.

4. Fisher: +10% chance of bringing home rare fish. +5% chance of bringing home +4 extra fish.

5. Hunter: +10 chance of bringing home rare pelts. +2% chance of bringing home +2 extra pelts.

6. Hardy: Your Dire can still be injured by hunting big prey, but those injuries decrease in severity from +10% to just +5%.

7. Leadership: Your Dire will only need 500/500 to reach Alpha if born Omega.

8. Lucky: You Dire will bring home +5 items in Caving/Diving/Exploring/Fishing/Hunting, no matter the previous chances. Stacks with Caver/Diver/Explorer/Fisher/Hunter.

9. Oddball: Your Dire will be able to produce one random physical or non-physical trait during a breeding. Includes mane types.

Uncommon

25% chance of passing to offspring

1. Brawny: Deity breedings will have at least one or two Alpha pups. The rest will be Betas.

2. Epona's Blessing: Deity Breedings will produce one known Legendary pup. The rest will be Betas.

3. Cleverness: Dires will be able to bring back +4 extra items during a Caving/Exploring/Diving/Hunting/Fishing trip.

4. Critter Whisper: Dires will have +5% chance or luring companions to themselves.

Rare

10% chance of passing to offspring

1. Ancient Blood: Normal maned Dires with this trait will be able to pass on one rare mane type.

2. Birthright: Rare mane Dires with this trait will be able to pass on one to two pups with a rare mane, no matter if they are bred to a normal maned dire.

3. King's Blood: Grants the user the chance to turn one pup of their choosing into a male using this trait upon design upload.

4. Queen's Blood: Grants the user the chance to turn one pup of their choosing, into a female using this trait upon design upload.

5. Small Dire: Dires with this trait will be able to produce the very rare Dwarf Dire!

Extremely Rare

1. Epona's Light: Heterozygous genes have a +10% chance of passing to offspring.

2. Thor's Blessing: 1-5 pups can be rolled no matter the ranking of your Dire.

Unique Traits

Passed by only one Dire and his/her offspring.
5% chance of passing to offspring

1. Morana's Breath: Sphinx Dires will be able to go into cold climates and not suffer any ill affects. - Suggested by KhaleesiKiyiyaWolf

2. Solfrids' Spark: Dires will gain an Elemental Sprite of their user's choosing. Sprite gives +3%SP. - Suggested by KhaleesiKiyiyaWolf.

3. Epona's Love: Dires can be bred over the normal monthly limit. Gains an extra three slots per Rank. - Suggested by KhaleesiKiyiyaWolf

4. Offering to the Deities: In any breeding you can make a Spafold Coin or Token offering to increase your rare mane chance in any normal breedings from +5% to +10/+20/+30% chances depending on the mane to guarantee at least one pup will have that mane. - Suggested by KhaleesiKiyiyaWolf

5. Cave delver: A keen eye on those lovely cave items. +4% for gems, +2% for glowworms, +1% for bats. - Suggested by WolfWalker21

6. Mountaineer: +4% agility, +3% spotting, +1% detecting caves.- Suggested by WolfWalker21

7. Pathfinder: +4% navigation, +3% spotting, +2% endurance. - Suggested by WolfWalker21
